Subscriptions & Billing

PlayRen offers tiered subscription plans to match different levels of play. All billing is handled securely through Stripe.

Plans

Free Plan

• Price: $0/month
• Playtime: Limited monthly playtime
• Sessions: Standard priority — may queue during peak hours
• Save slots: 3 slots per game
• Best for: Trying out PlayRen and casual players

Basic Plan

• Price: $9.99/month
• Playtime: Extended monthly playtime
• Sessions: Priority access — shorter wait times
• Save slots: 3 slots per game
• Best for: Regular players who want more time

Pro Plan

• Price: $19.99/month
• Playtime: Unlimited
• Sessions: Highest priority — near-instant launch
• Save slots: 3 slots per game
• Best for: Dedicated players who want unrestricted access

All plans include access to your full game library (determined by your library codes). Plans differ in playtime allowance and session priority, not game access.

Subscribing to a Plan

1. Go to Dashboard > Plan & Billing in the sidebar.
2. Review the available plans.
3. Click Subscribe on your desired plan.
4. You'll be redirected to a Stripe Checkout page to enter your payment details.
5. Complete the payment and you're upgraded immediately.

Managing Your Subscription

Billing Portal

Click Manage Billing on the Plan & Billing page to open the Stripe Customer Portal. From there you can:

• View invoices and download receipts.
• Update payment method (credit/debit card).
• Change plan — upgrade or downgrade at any time. Changes take effect at the next billing cycle.
• Cancel subscription — your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period.

Upgrading

When you upgrade mid-cycle, you're prorated — you only pay the difference for the remaining days in your billing period.

Downgrading

When you downgrade, the change takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle. You keep your current plan's benefits until then.

Canceling

If you cancel, your plan remains active until the end of the billing period. After that, you revert to the Free plan. Your save data, favorites, and library codes are preserved.

Payment Methods

PlayRen accepts all major payment methods through Stripe:

• Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
• Some regional payment methods depending on your location

Billing Questions

• Charges appear as "PlayRen" or "play.ren.bd" on your statement.
• Billing cycle starts on the day you subscribe and renews monthly.
• Failed payments are retried automatically by Stripe. You'll receive an email notification if payment fails.
