Favorites & Library
PlayRen organizes your games through library codes provided by partners and a personal favorites list for quick access to the games you love.
Library Codes
Library codes are how you get access to games on PlayRen. Each code links you to a partner's game catalog.
What Is a Library Code?
A library code is a unique string provided by a library partner — a publisher, distributor, or storefront that hosts games on PlayRen. When you add a library code, all games in that partner's catalog become available in your library.
How to Get a Library Code
Library codes are distributed by partners. Common ways to receive one:
- Purchase from a partner — some partners include a PlayRen library code with game purchases.
- Partner promotions — partners may offer codes during sales or events.
- Bundled access — some subscriptions or memberships include PlayRen library codes.
Visit the Partners page to see current library providers and their offerings.
Adding a Library Code
- Go to your Dashboard and navigate to Library.
- Click the Add Library Code button.
- Enter the code in the input field and click Submit.
- The partner's games immediately appear in your library.
You can add multiple library codes from different partners. All catalogs are merged into a single unified library view.
Managing Library Codes
You can view your active library codes in the dashboard. Each code shows:
- Partner name — which partner provided the code.
- Games available — how many titles are in the partner's catalog.
- Date added — when you linked the code.
Favorites
The favorites system lets you bookmark games for quick access.
Adding a Game to Favorites
There are two ways to favorite a game:
- From the library — click the heart icon on any game card.
- From the game detail page — click the heart icon next to the game title.
The heart fills in to confirm the game has been added.
Viewing Your Favorites
Access your favorites from the Favorites page in the dashboard sidebar. This page shows only your favorited games, making it easy to jump back into titles you play regularly.
Removing a Favorite
Click the filled heart icon on a favorited game to remove it. The game stays in your library — it's just removed from your favorites list.
Favorites vs. Library
- Library — all games available to you through your library codes. You can't manually add or remove games here; it's determined by your linked partners.
- Favorites — a personal subset of your library that you've bookmarked. Fully under your control.
Think of your library as "everything available" and favorites as "my shortlist."
